This steel balde is forged right here in the USA from 440 high carbon stainless steel. No off-shore, tin can lid and mild steel junk!
After forging, blade is normalized, profiled, annealed, surface ground, berel ground, heat treated to RC 56-57, buffed, etched, final buffed, sharpened, cleaned, & oiled.
All knife blades I use are Marquenced in a state of the art heat-treating system for 20% greater toughness and superior edge holding.
